Description

Octopush, a company in the digital messaging sector, is looking for a full-stack PHP developer to support the CTO.

Position

Working within an experienced and passionate team where rigor and continuous learning are key, you will assist the CTO in the technical development of a conversational platform for SMS, email, and other messaging services.

3 main responsibilities

• Participate in application development using Symfony 4.4 / Vue.js (50% of the time)
• Work on legacy PHP code (10%)
• Manage technical requests from the business team (updates, integrations, etc.) (40%)

You are looking to:

• Take part in an ambitious project with planned international expansion
• Be actively involved in technical decision-making
• Work remotely, structured by the AGILE / SCRUM methodology

Technical stack

• PHP, MySQL
• Symfony 4+ / CodeIgniter
• Composer, Docker, Git
• AWS, Jira, JetBrains
• Proficiency in unit and functional testing
• Writing documentation and specifications in English

Profile

Passionate about the web, committed to standards, detail-oriented, and always eager to expand your skills, you have at least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
Your theoretical knowledge will help us continuously optimize the performance of a system that must execute millions of operations with very low latency.
Always keeping up with the topics you are passionate about, you will help keep the platform at the forefront of the latest technologies.
You are fluent in English and will have no trouble integrating into a diverse team that uses it as a common language.

Conditions

Location: Marseille (3 days on-site / 2 days remote)
Salary: To be determined based on experience
