How does SMS alarm acknowledgment work?
When an alarm is triggered in Ignition, an SMS is sent to the configured recipients. The technician replies to the SMS with a predefined code to acknowledge the alarm. The acknowledgment is immediately recorded in Ignition with the timestamp and the identity of the responder. You can also configure acknowledgment via phone call.
Can I send SMS messages to multiple recipients simultaneously?
Yes. You manage your alert groups from a centralized interface. For each type of alarm, you define a list of recipients who will receive the SMS simultaneously. You can also configure automatic escalations: if the alarm is not acknowledged within a set timeframe, a new SMS is sent to a higher-level manager.
